Vibratherm Adjustable Chock
REYNOLDS-FRENCH now offers a
pre-cast, ready to use chocking system with most of the same advantages of
pourable epoxy chocks plus the added advantage of being adjustable for hot
alignment situations. Vibratherm, a two-piece, two-inch, precision-ground split
epoxy chock with .035" S.S. shims, sits on a hot-rolled steel soleplate with two
jack bolts for easy installation and support while grouting.

Vibratherm
Horizontal movement resistance, due to the high friction
coefficient between Vibratherm and metal (frame above and soleplate below),
allows equipment to operate smoother. Vibratherm also allows equipment to
operate smoother. Vibratherm also allows free air space and the epoxy
composition of the Vibratherm acts as an insulator to greatly reduce heat
build-up from the engine frame to the foundation. Vibratherm chocks will not
fret the bottom of the frame. Also available as split steel chocks. (See
illustration.)

Two inch thick shimmed chocks provide free
flow of air to minimize effects of "thermal humping" on crankshafts...and reduce

held by bolts through the chock halves, allow fast alignment corrections if
necessary.

Unique dual-purpose level-lift bolts assist in relieving
machinery weight on two piece chocks for easy insertion or removal of
shims.

installation.
