SECTION REPLACEMENT
Reynolds-French is often confronted
with repair problems never before encountered. Experience has shown that the
more conventional form of repair are not always sufficient enough to assure long
lasting equipment life and performance.
Among the most innovative repair methods for meeting
such "challenges" has been repair jobs requiring the replacement with new
castings where damaged sections of equipment were found.
Shown below are jobs where locking, bolting and steel
reinforcement could not effectively hold damaged areas in the equipment. These
areas have been removed and machined to accept newly poured stress-relieved
castings.
This remarkable innovation has enabled
Reynolds-French to save numerous customers many millions of dollars in
replacement costs and downtime.
